The Sibelco Global Graduate Programme is a two-year rotational programme consisting of two one-year assignments in key operational and technical roles. Participants gain hands-on experience with real business projects, ensuring early responsibility and exposure to strategic decision-making.

Participants receive a permanent contract from the start, ensuring long-term career prospects within Sibelco. As part of this programme, we are recruiting a Project & Reliability Engineer – Graduate Programme for a one-year assignment focused on improving the reliability, efficiency and long-term investment planning of the Stjernøy processing plant.

  • Identify process bottlenecks and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and plant utilisation.
  • Assess internal transport systems and plant layout to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Develop a fact-based, long-term equipment replacement and investment plan.
  • Translate equipment condition and expected lifetime assessments into annual CapEx requirements and investment priorities.
  • Support the transition from reactive towards preventive maintenance through data-driven recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve plant availability, reliability, yield and energy efficiency.
  • Present findings and recommendations to technical and operational stakeholders.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in industrial processes, equipment reliability and operational excellence.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems and industrial processing environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to assess technical information, identify patterns and translate findings into practical recommendations.
  • Structured approach to project management and prioritisation.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Norwegian language skills are beneficial but not required.
  • Willingness to travel when required by the assignment.
