Job Description:
Responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant processing of export documentation, shipment handling, operational reporting, and regulatory requirements. Supports daily operations by maintaining shipment visibility, resolving discrepancies, monitoring compliance standards, and ensuring timely movement of shipments while delivering high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation and Export Processing
- Perform ODC documentation audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Complete IDIS scanning, image classification, and discrepancy resolution activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate export release of shipments.
- Monitor proper arrival, inbound, and departure sequencing to prevent operational failures.
- Escalate operational irregularities and exceptions to appropriate stakeholders.
Shipment Operations and Compliance
- Execute sorting, scanning, bagging, labeling, and shipment processing activities in accordance with operational standards.
- Ensure zero missorts, no left-in-building shipments, and complete bypass nesting to Service Centers.
- Support revenue recovery activities and ensure accurate revenue capture for non-DWS shipments.
- Resolve shipment discrepancies identified through operational reports and monitoring tools.
Reporting and Administrative Support
- Prepare and submit daily and monthly operational reports including:
- ODC Reports
- SEAS Reports
- DWS Reports
- Air Feed Reports
- CAB Reports
- DIS Summaries
- Operational Checklists
- KNI Reports
- Export Hold Documentation
- Provide timely pre-alerts and updates for held, exception, and export shipments.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for operational compliance.
Regulatory and Safety Compliance
- Apply ODC procedures, ISAT practices, and SWM standards in daily operations.
- Handle Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct DG recognition, rejection, and six-side package inspections.
- Verify High-Value Shipment Waivers, ISC contracts, and restricted commodity requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with security, customs, aviation, and company regulations.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, airline gateway, export operations, or courier operations.
- Experience in shipment processing, export documentation, and operational reporting is an advantage.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve shipment and documentation discrepancies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and operational systems.
- Above average verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Physical and Work Requirements
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required by operational needs.
