Culinary Assistant

Farmstead Living is currently seeking Culinary Assistants to join our dining services team. Full Time or Part Time positions available. Weekend opportunities. Shifts are as follows:

7am - 3pm FT/PT & 4pm - 7pm PT

Ideal Candidate

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude
• Friendly with excellent customer service skills
• Reliable/dependable
• Team-player

Essential Responsibilities

• Serve meals and offer menu choices to residents in a cheerful, respectful, and professional manner.
• Follow established portion control guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and according to sanitation standards.
• Assist with food preparation and meal service as assigned.
• Store leftovers and food items according to food safety and handling procedures.
• Pre-soak, sort, wash, and properly store dishes, utensils, and cookware.
