General Notes

This is a grant-funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.

Purpose

This position will serve as a senior research administrator for the National Institutes for Health (NIH) funded Early Psychosis Intervention Network in Texas grant. This multi-site research grant supports a learning health system across community-based programs serving individuals with a first episode of psychosis. The Social Science/Humanities Research Associate (Senior Research Administrator) will provide project management across multiple projects and support investigators and research staff in meeting grant aims, goals and objectives and disseminating knowledge developed through the project.


Responsibilities


  • Engage and participate in project management across a multi-site center grant to define core tasks, assign deadlines, identify responsible parties, and monitor progress accordingly.
  • Coordinate and attend research and community meetings, including assistance in developing agendas, documenting decisions and tasks, and facilitating collaboration.
  • Coordinate and support the dissemination of research and quality improvement findings through the development of briefs, newsletters, updates of the website, and coordination of manuscript preparation or presentations.
  • Coordinate and support the submission of applications to the Institutional Review Board (IRB), including modifications, renewals, adverse event reports, and reliance agreements. Develop or modify policy and procedure documents to provide consistency and clarity within the project.
  • Coordinate and support the annual update of project sub-award documentation, including coordinating submissions from project partners. Identify regular tracking of budget expenditures and invoicing and coordinate with staff responsible for payment.
  • Provide timely reporting to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) by assisting with enrollment reporting and the development of progress reports.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with major coursework in mental health or field related to work to be performed with 8 years of related experience OR Masters' Degree with major coursework in mental health or field related to work to be performed with 6 years of related experience. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Excellent attention to detail. Values the contributions of others in the workplace.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.


Preferred Qualifications

Doctoral Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Public Health or field related to work to be performed with 4 years of related experience. Ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary Range

$74,000 - $80,000 - depending on qualifications

  • M-F, Flexible between 8am-6pm
