Ensuring the establishment of Continuous Improvement Culture while having accountability over site’s overall performance along with Site Leadership Team!

This is not a position for pure academics or advisors. The colleague will be expected to work full time across a range of departments and cooperation with global sites as required. He will be able to work hand-in-hand, influence, coach and challenge our internal teams in adopting and implementing LEGO Continuous Improvements. The main focus will be to implement Lean tools, processes, behaviors and mindset with the aim of building organization capabilities and achieving practical results.

He/she will use the standard LCI assessment tools to show clear status against future targets. Some international travel is expected for cooperation with other areas!

No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Your responsibility will be:

• Run the LCI department on a daily basis.
• Challenge and coach the local Leaders to improve overall operational efficiencies through the applications of LCI methodologies and mindset.
• Contribute to development of global LCI strategies as well as roll out in the form of local LCI activities.
• Introduce new and practical insights to the organization to augment existing lean systems.
• Uphold and maintain global standards implementations and validate through process confirmations.

• Act as the trainer and custodian of PPS process pertaining to its application in cases when continuous improvements are needed within operations processes.

• Lead the various LEGO Jiaxing departments in the execution of the strategic deployment process during strategic planning periods.
• Lead concerted efforts across all departments in the planning, execution and tracking of yearly productivity improvement activities in meeting the yearly productivity targets.
• Oversee the deployment of Power BI capabilities in LEGO Jiaxing, maintain pipeline of initiatives and develop local communities to ensure efficient applications in support of continuous improvement activities.

You are expected to have:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role
• Familiarization of the Lean tools and mindset
• Hands on experience in helping organization to transition from traditional processes to Lean processes.
• Good stakeholder management skills to secure mandate and support for LCI activities.
• Experience in leading people. 
• Flexibility in working hours and mobility in workplace.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin.
