About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join our client’s team in Canberra, ACT.

This opportunity is suited to a surveyor with at least two years of experience working across civil infrastructure projects. You will provide site-based surveying support to project delivery teams, completing set-out, as-built surveys, data collection and other surveying activities required for the successful delivery of civil works.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete engineering and construction surveying activities across civil infrastructure projects.
• Carry out accurate site set-out for civil works.
• Complete as-built surveys and maintain accurate survey records.
• Interpret construction drawings, plans and project specifications.
• Undertake survey data collection, processing and reporting.
• Work closely with engineers, supervisors and construction teams.
• Maintain survey equipment and ensure appropriate calibration and accuracy.
• Support quality assurance and project documentation requirements.
• Ensure surveying activities comply with project safety and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Engineering Surveying experience.
• Demonstrated experience working on civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience with construction set-out and as-built surveying.
• Ability to interpret civil construction drawings and specifications.
• Competency with modern surveying equipment and software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and site coordination skills.
• Australian working rights, including eligible Working Holiday Visa holders.
• Current driver’s licence.
