Writing Intern

Lowyat Media Group is one of Malaysia's leading online media organisations with a stable of popular lifestyle portals such as Hype.my, Lowyat.net, Lipstiq.com and Varnam.my. We are on the hunt for talented scholars to fill the position of Writing Intern for a minimum period of 3 months. Your Job Responsibilities:

• You will work with our team(s) to grow one or several of our portals and related social media platforms.
• You will create daily multimedia content for the portal(s) and related social media platforms.
• You will regularly attend and provide coverage for various lifestyle events - from product launches to fashion shows, concerts to celebrity press conferences.

Your Qualifications & Requirements:

• Your have EXCELLENT command of the English language.
• You are creative, inquisitive and have exceptional writing skills.
• You have an outgoing, extroverted personality and are able to work both independently and in a team.
• You consume, and are able to contextualize news on celebrities, entertainment, culture, lifestyle, fashion, wellness, food, automotives, gaming and tech fads.
• You love the internet and digital content, and you keep up with current affairs and social media trends.
• You have no issues with covering external events, and socializing as part of your job.

NOTE: You will receive a monthly allowance and may claim a set amount for transport expenses.
