Logistics Supervisor AGSCS / C&W

Job Description:

What will you do? 

As a Supervisor at Arrow Electronics, you provide leadership and direction Business Support Employees, Team Leads, and warehouse operators.

Oversee and direct the operations of AGSCS and C&W departments, ensuring efficiency, ensuring excellence service and effective coordination with cross-department collaboration within the facility but also with external colleagues from Asset & Sales.
Serve as a subject matter expert and actively contribute to identifying operational inefficiencies, implementing improvement projects, and driving Lean continuous improvement initiatives. Due to your good communication and coordination, the team knows that they can rely on you to ensure that the process runs smoothly together. As a supervisor you keep an overview of the process, you ensure a pleasant working climate and that the objectives are achieved. Together with your experience and qualities, you manage some of the processes in our huge and modern warehouse.

• Building and developing your team of Business Support Employees, Team-Leads and operators.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with external colleagues in Sales and Asset Management.

• Coaching and motivating your team and managing absenteeism; 

• Devising and developing improvement proposals in collaboration with the Operational managers. 

• KPI Management, Monitor, analyze, and improve operational KPI’s including productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, service level and employee engagement.

A people-oriented manager with experience in managing teams, you have a can do attitude. You are proactive, eager to learn and want to work in a hypermodern warehouse from which high-quality electronic components are sent worldwide. In addition, you are easily approachable and have good communication skills to manage an international team. You are able to communicate in English, Dutch or German are a plus. Finally, you are a quick thinker, and you are flexible. Gambit and or WMS system knowledge is a plus. 

Job Complexity

● Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team
● Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion
● Receives guidance and oversight from manager
● Typically spends up to 40% of time performing the work supervised
● Accountable for the results of small-sized routine support or production operations teams
● Solves problems based on set policies and procedures
● Trains team members and provides input to employee performance evaluations
