International HR Delivery Partner

Location: Hybrid working at our office in Norwalk, Connecticut

Contract: 6 month fixed-term contract maternity cover

Salary: Competitive



We have a fantastic opportunity for an International HR Delivery Partner to join our Global People team here at Domestic & General. The role acts as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, translating business priorities into effective people strategies that drive organisational performance, capability and growth. The role partners with leaders across the US business to deliver solutions relating to workforce planning, talent, leadership effectiveness and change.

 

Operating in a dynamic and complex environment, the role enables business success through data-led insight, commercial judgement and expert people guidance. The position also plays a critical role in ensuring organisational change and people initiatives are delivered effectively, sustainably and in line with D&G’s objectives. 

 



What you’ll be doing:


  • Develop and implement people strategies aligned to the priorities and objectives of supported business functions.  
  • Partner with senior leaders to shape workforce planning and capability strategies that enable future business performance.  
  • Lead complex people and organisational change initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and adoption.  
  • Deliver expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, leadership effectiveness and organisational risk.  
  • Analyse workforce trends, organisational metrics and people insights to drive informed decision-making and targeted interventions.  
  • Manage talent, succession and development discussions to strengthen leadership pipelines and critical capability areas.  
  • Ensure consistent application of employment legislation, company policy and governance requirements across the employee lifecycle.  
  • Influence and challenge senior stakeholders to improve organisational effectiveness, employee experience and business outcomes.  
  • Lead cross-functional people initiatives and transformation activities in partnership with Centres of Excellence and HR Operations teams.  
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance people processes, capability and organisational performance. 



What you'll bring:



  • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders to develop and deliver people strategies that support business goals.
  • Strong background in organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational change and transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to influence, challenge, and coach leaders at all levels.
  • Expertise in employee relations, performance management, and employment law compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage workforce data and insights to drive decision-making.
  • Experience building leadership capability, succession plans, and talent pipelines.
  • Track record of improving processes, driving operational excellence, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and change leadership skills.
