Purpose
The SAP FI Consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Financial Accounting (FI) solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments. This role partners closely with finance stakeholders to optimize financial processes, ensure compliance, support business transformation initiatives, and deliver end-to-end SAP FI solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation project.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and support SAP FI solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP FI functional specifications.
- Configure and support:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Tax Configuration
- Financial Closing Processes
- Country-Specific Legal Requirements
- FI-MM Integration
- FI-SD Integration
- Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.
- Work with business users to improve and standardize financial processes.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP best practices.
- Coordinate with technical teams for custom developments, interfaces, reports, and enhancements.
- Prepare functional specifications and support integration testing.
- Support integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, CO, Treasury, and third-party systems.
- Perform data migration validation and reconciliation activities.
- Provide production support and resolve complex FI-related issues.
- Facilitate user training sessions and develop user documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial reporting standards.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 6 years of SAP FI consulting experience.
- Experience in at least two end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Financial Closing Processes

- MBA (Finance), CA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience
- Experience in multiple global SAP implementation and support projects.
- Experience with SAP Fiori, Central Finance, and SAP Group Reporting.
Other Attributes
- SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting Certification preferred.
- Experience in the Manufacturing or Medical Device industry preferred.
