Description
Full-Time | Monday–Friday (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM) | No Evenings or Weekends | Van Provided
Love training dogs, but hate the hassle of managing unpaid downtime?
We’re flipping the traditional dog training model on its head! At our facility, you don't need to hunt for clients—our vibrant daycare program is packed with dogs eager for structured learning, enrichment, and training every single day.
We’re looking for a skilled, energetic dog pro who thrives in a dynamic environment, combining hands-on playgroup management with targeted behavioral training.
What Makes This Role Unique:
- Guaranteed Hours: No waiting around for your next training appointment or worrying about gaps in your schedule. You’ll have 40 guaranteed hours every week, combining training with hands-on work in our daycare program.
- A Training-First Daycare Culture: We don't do chaotic, free-for-all dog parks. Our daycare focuses on structured play, positive reinforcement, and behavioral wellness.
- Variety Every Single Day: Your schedule is a fun mix of leading small-group daycare, running 1-on-1 Daycare & Train sessions, leading Walk & Train routes, teaching classes, and loading up the company van for off-site adventures.
- Work/Life Balance That Actually Exists: Done by 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with nights and weekends entirely yours. You're free to relax or run your own private evening clients without burning out.
What We’re Looking For:
- Professional Training Background: Professional dog training certification (CPDT-KA, KPA-CTP, IAABC, etc.) or formal dog training education, combined with hands-on experience using positive-reinforcement training methods and a strong understanding of canine behavior and body language.
- Group Management Skills: Comfortable working with groups of dogs of all sizes, reading canine body language, and maintaining safe, positive play. Confident independently leading group training classes.
- Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record and valid insurance to drive the van for training outings and adventure walks.
- Positive Energy: A team player who genuinely loves dogs, communicates clearly with owners, and brings enthusiasm to the group every day.
Perks & Pay:
- Up to $30/hour depending on experience and certifications.
- Guaranteed full-time hours with a predictable Monday–Friday schedule.
- Unpaid 1-hour lunch break every day.
- All training gear, facility space, client base, and company van provided.
Ready to make a difference in dogs’ lives while enjoying guaranteed hours, variety, and plenty of opportunities to use your training skills? Complete our application and submit your resume—both are required to be considered.
