Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Information Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of comprehensive Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across their enterprise environment. This role offers the opportunity to architect secure authentication, authorization, and privileged access frameworks while serving as a technical authority on IAM platforms and best practices.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end IAM solutions including authentication, authorization, privileged access management, and lifecycle management systems
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in IAM technologies, standards, protocols, and industry frameworks
- Partner with IT and security teams to integrate IAM platforms with enterprise systems, cloud services, and SaaS applications
- Define and maintain IAM architectural roadmaps, reference architectures, and design patterns to guide enterprise identity strategy
- Provide technical leadership during vendor evaluations, product selection, and solution implementation initiatives
- Guide and mentor IT engineering teams on IAM best practices, secure coding standards, and integration methodologies
- Ensure all solutions maintain compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR, PCI)
Requirements
- 10–15 years of overall Information Security or IAM experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions and architecture
- 8+ years of Active Directory administration and architecture experience
- 3+ years of Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD) design and implementation
- 4+ years designing and implementing Identity and Access Management controls and frameworks
- Expertise in IAM protocols and standards: SAML, OIDC, OAuth2, SCIM, and RBAC/ABAC models
- Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IAM integration across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
