Your Role at impact.com:

We’re seeking a motivated, curious, and detail-oriented intern to play a crucial role in supporting the operational cadences within our Marketplace Growth team. This role will focus on improving customer productivity and offer a unique opportunity to contribute to data analysis, content creation, and process improvements.This role is ideal for someone who is eager to gain hands-on experience in project management, digital marketing, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic technology environment. 

You'll get hands-on experience setting up, building, and optimizing AI-powered tools and automation workflows This role is ideal for someone who wants to build real skills in lifecycle marketing, automation, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic technology environment. This is a 6-month hybrid internship.

What You'll Do:

  • Gain hands-on experience planning and launching real lifecycle campaigns, including emails, in-app messages, and push notifications that actively guide our brands and creators toward success.
  • Build and configure personalized, automated communication workflows from the ground up, learning how to use industry tools to move users forward while minimizing manual work.
  • Assist with improving our team's processes by identifying repetitive tasks and replacing them with scalable solutions, including leveraging AI tools to draft content, segment audiences, and build reports.
  • Dive into real-world metrics by maintaining data flows and analyzing key lifecycle health indicators (like activation and engagement rates) to see the direct impact of your campaigns.
  • Help optimize our marketing strategy by running A/B tests on messaging, timing, and channels to continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Draft clean, clear, and engaging copy for various touchpoints that drives action and supports our overall marketplace growth.
  • Work cross-functionally alongside experts in Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Data Science to bring major lifecycle initiatives to life.

What You Have:

  • Degree or relevant qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, Linguistics, Public Relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — ability to write clean, clear, engaging copy that prompts action.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides); especially Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
  • Genuine interest in the creator economy, brand partnerships, e-commerce, or marketplace ecosystems.
  • Strong curiosity about AI tools and automation — eager to go beyond using them to actually setting them up, configuring workflows, and building scalable systems.
  • Research-oriented mindset with a knack for digging into data and identifying lifecycle trends.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys both creative and analytical work.
