About the Role
As the Head of Architecture Iberia, you will play a pivotal role in defining, steering, and governing the technology architecture vision across our Iberian ecosystem (LMPT, LMES, and Obramat ES). Operating at the intersection of business strategy and cutting-edge technology, you will ensure our platforms are scalable, resilient, secure, and ready to leverage AI capabilities, while fostering strong synergies between all Business Units and aligning with global ADEO frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
1. Architectural Governance & Strategic Alignment
- Drive the overall technology architecture strategy across Portugal and Spain, ensuring strict alignment with regional business objectives and global ADEO guidelines.
- Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership across LMPT, LMES, and Obramat ES, translating business vision into robust and future-proof architectural roadmaps.
- Identify and promote cross-BU technical synergies, driving efficiency, component reuse, and optimization of technology investments across the Iberian peninsula.
- Lead the integration of AI-driven tools and GenAI patterns into architectural design to enhance operational performance and product intelligence.
2. Platform Trajectory & System Robustness
- Establish and oversee target architecture trajectories for local and regional platforms to achieve strategic OKRs.
- Define and execute a structured roadmap to ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security across all core systems.
- Guarantee seamless interoperability between local platform solutions and central ADEO global products.
3. Tech Debt Reduction & Continuous Excellence
- Partner with engineering and product teams to systematically identify, prioritize, and reduce functional, technical, digital, and security debt.
- Instill a culture of architectural excellence, simplicity, and safety through Security-by-Design and Architecture-by-Design practices.
4. Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, empower, and mentor a distributed team of solution and enterprise architects across Iberia, building a high-performing and collaborative culture.
- Manage workload distribution and strategic allocation of architecture resources to effectively serve the priorities of each BU.
- Sponsor continuous professional growth and build a strong Iberian Architecture Community connected with ADEO's international networks.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Proven experience (8+ years) in Enterprise / Solution Architecture leadership roles within large-scale, complex environments (Retail, E-commerce, or Supply Chain is highly valued).
- Multi-Entity Governance: Track record of managing architecture strategy or cross-functional teams in multi-country or multi-business unit contexts.
- Technical Breadth: Strong expertise in Cloud Architecture, Microservices, API-first strategies, Event-driven systems, Security governance, and AI/Data integration.
- Strategic & Influence Mindset: Outstanding stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence executive business leaders and guide engineering teams.
- Languages: Professional fluency in Portuguese, Spanish and English (mandatory)
