We are looking for someone who can help throughout the week and work two Saturdays per month. If you are dependable, organized, customer-service oriented, and love animals, we would love to meet you!
What You'll Do
As a Client Service Representative, you will be an important part of our veterinary hospital team and often the first and last person our clients interact with.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients and their pets with a warm, friendly, and professional approach
- Providing outstanding customer service throughout each client's visit
- Answering phones, responding to client questions, and directing calls appropriately
- Scheduling appointments and managing the flow of client visits
- Checking clients and patients in and out of the hospital
- Maintaining accurate client and patient information
- Processing payments and assisting with financial transactions
- Communicating appointment information, treatment recommendations, and follow-up instructions
- Assisting veterinary team members with client communication and coordination of patient care
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Providing compassionate support to clients during routine visits as well as more emotional or stressful situations
- Working collaboratively with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, assistants, and other hospital team members
What We're Looking For
The ideal Veterinary Client Service Representative is someone who is friendly, reliable, organized, and comfortable working with both people and pets.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous customer service, receptionist, veterinary, medical, or animal care experience preferred
- Is comfortable working in a busy veterinary hospital environment
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Provides exceptional customer service and treats every client with compassion and respect
- Is dependable and able to work a flexible part-time schedule
- Is comfortable working two Saturdays per month
- Can multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Works well as part of a collaborative team
- Is comfortable learning veterinary terminology and hospital processes
- Has basic computer skills and the ability to learn veterinary practice management software
- Has a genuine love for animals and a desire to help pets and their families
