• 3+ years of commercial roofing experience, including service, repair, and maintenance work.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial roofing systems

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Service Foreman to lead commercial roofing service operations and manage a small team of technicians in the field. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating daily service activities, conducting roof inspections, diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate combines strong technical roofing knowledge with leadership skills, safety awareness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and train service technicians while overseeing daily field operations.
• Coordinate crew schedules, job assignments, and service activities to ensure efficient project execution.
• Travel to customer locations and serve as the primary on-site representative.
• Introduce crews to customer contacts and maintain professional communication throughout each service call.
• Conduct comprehensive roof inspections and accurately diagnose leaks, defects, and other roofing system issues.
• Perform and oversee repairs on commercial roofing systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Document findings, provide detailed service reports, and communicate repair recommendations to customers.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
• Complete timesheets, work orders, inspection reports, and other required service documentation using company technology platforms.
• Maintain service vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory in safe and operational condition.
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance while promoting a culture of workplace safety.
• Resolve field challenges and technical issues while maintaining strong customer relationships and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial roofing experience, including service, repair, and maintenance work.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including:
  • TPO
  • PVC
  • EPDM
  • Built-Up Roofing (BUR)
  • Modified Bitumen (Mod-Bit)
  • Metal Roofing Systems
• Proven ability to identify roofing deficiencies, diagnose leaks, and develop effective repair solutions.
• Experience leading crews and training team members in field operations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, coworkers, and management.
• Ability to read and interpret roofing specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and jobsite requirements.
• Basic computer, tablet, and smartphone proficiency for reporting, documentation, and company software usage.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean and insurable driving record required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
