As a Security Officer Full Time Reception in Springfield, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for visitors and employees. You will manage access, monitor activity, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and vendors at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident records while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support a professional and welcoming lobby environment by answering phones, providing directions, and reporting suspicious activity or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
