Description
Summary:
As part of the new Strategy, Intelligence & Integration structure, GL&C has consolidated learning and development (L&D) resources into a single, dedicated team. This section covers what is changing, what is not, and how the new team will prioritize its work.
The new L&D function brings together work currently spread across the department: Staff Legal training plans, GC&E instructional design, knowledge management, and information services. Consolidating these into one team gives GL&C a consistent, dedicated capability for building technical and AI skills at scale, rather than relying on pockets of effort across different teams.
In 2026, the new team continues the learning and development work already underway across GL&C, including programs and initiatives already committed for this year. Starting in 2027, the team will prioritize learning and development investments that enable large groups of employees to deliver on GL&C's 2030 priorities, starting with technical and AI capability.
