Optometry Technician
Reid Medical Clinic | Lackland AFB – San Antonio, TX | Potential Opportunity
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for an Optometry Technician to support vision care and military medical readiness at Reid Medical Clinic.

Position Highlights
Monday–Friday schedule
No nights, weekends, or federal holidays

Position Requirements
U.S. Citizenship
High School Diploma or GED
Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross; hands-on training)
Certified Paraoptometric (CPO), Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA), or equivalent preferred
Ability to perform clinical vision screenings and maintain accurate records
Key Responsibilities
Perform visual acuity and preliminary vision testing
Assist optometrists with examinations and procedures
Prepare patients and maintain optometry equipment
Document results and support military vision readiness screenings
