Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Recruitment Support Officer, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £13.47 - £17.45 per hour
Summary:
Recruitment Support Officer will be acting as the first point of contact for Foster Wales Cardiff, you will provide information, guidance, and reassurance to individuals interested in fostering, while supporting recruitment campaigns, community engagement, and the fostering assessment process.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for all fostering recruitment enquiries, providing advice and guidance to prospective foster carers.
- Manage and process fostering enquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication throughout the recruitment journey.
- Conduct initial home visits and introductory visits prior to the formal fostering assessment process.
- Support the delivery of best practice in fostering recruitment in line with local authority procedures.
- Coordinate and attend recruitment events, community engagement activities, and awareness campaigns to promote fostering.
- Maintain accurate records and effectively manage information relating to fostering enquiries and applications.
Essentials:
- Experience engaging with members of the public and delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and provide reassurance.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and maintain accurate records.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
