Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs duties related to preparing linen for use in the hospital, including inventory maintenance, folding, exchange cart preparation, and delivery.
• May assist in separating soiled linens and inspecting them for defects and removing debris.
• Follows infection control and universal precaution procedures. Loads linens into machines and distributes when clean.
• Maintains assigned work areas and supplies.
• Follows established procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other applicable federal and state regulations.
• Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions.
• The ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to stoop, bend, and twist.
