Requirements

The Barback is an essential support role that helps keep the bar running efficiently and ensures bartenders have everything they need to deliver outstanding service. This position is responsible for stocking, cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the bar while contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members alike.

What You'll Do:

Support the Bar Team

• Assist bartenders with daily operations to ensure efficient service.
• Prepare garnishes, stock supplies, and replenish bar necessities throughout the shift.
• Keep the bar fully stocked with ice, liquor, beer, wine, glassware, napkins, and straws.
• Anticipate bar needs and provide proactive support during busy service periods. 

Maintain a Clean & Organized Bar

• Keep all bar areas clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Remove used glassware and maintain clean workstations.
• Sweep, mop, wipe down surfaces, and empty trash receptacles as needed.
• Assist with cleaning coolers, storage areas, and bar equipment. 

Uphold Safety & Quality Standards

• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Ensure beverages, garnishes, and supplies meet quality expectations.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and accident-free environment.
• Support compliance with restaurant policies and operational standards. 

Be a Team Player

• Work closely with bartenders, servers, managers, and other team members.
• Communicate effectively to support smooth and efficient operations.
• Remain open to coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement.
• Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned by management. 

Represent the Brand

• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm in every interaction.
• Serve as a positive representative of the Tacos & Tequila Cantina brand.
