  • Train customer personnel on proper instrument operation, maintenance, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, maintenance records, and reporting within company systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, laboratory protocols, and customer site requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and share technical knowledge with teammates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree and 3+ years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating sophisticated analytical instrumentation, e.g. mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, and ion chromatography systems.

  • Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as business needs require (typically significantly less for this resident position).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in laboratory and cleanroom environments.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing technical training and certification programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting electron microscopy, spectroscopy, or other advanced analytical instrumentation.
  • Experience mentoring or training junior engineers or laboratory personnel.
