Job Summary
The Lead Data & AI Value Realization role is responsible for operationalizing the measurement and tracking of business value generated from AI initiatives. This role ensures that AI use cases deliver measurable, credible, and consistent outcomes aligned with enterprise goals.
Working closely with Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI), Finance, and Business Units, the Lead drives the implementation of value tracking frameworks and governance, supports portfolio performance monitoring, and creates clear, executive-ready insights on AI impact. This role defines, tracks, and validates value metrics for all initiatives across the enterprise. Additionally, this role will define and maintain the department budget and ten-year plans.
The Lead Data & AI Value Realization reports to the Sr. Manager, Data & AI Transformation & Governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of the value tracking frameworks, governance processes, and analytics required to define, track validate and report AI performance
- Maintain clear baseline, forecasted and realized value metrics and ensure auditability and traceability of reported benefits
- Track performance of AI initiatives including the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools (e.g Power BI)
- Maintain portfolio value reporting cadence
- Conduct the analysis of ROI and value-to-investment ratio, Cost benefit metrics by use case
- Partner with Finance and Control teams to ensure consistency in value calculations
- Benchmark performance against internal and external targets
- Perform data validation and reconciliation of reported benefits
- Identify gaps in value realization
- Identify risk and delivery issues
- Define and maintain department budget and ten-year plan
- Promote and reinforce standard practices and reporting consistency across the organization
- Refine tracking methodologies and tools based on feedback and outcomes
- Support adoption of best practices in AI value measurements
- Foster culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Communicate with stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Information Technology or a related field of study and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Relevant experience includes driving analytics, finance, consulting, or digital/AI programs
- Experience supporting value realization, KPI tracking, or financial analysis
- Exposure to AI or digital transformation initiatives
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (ROI, cost-benefit analysis)
- Data visualization and reporting (Power BI, Excel)
- Understanding of AI use cases and business impact drivers
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field of study
- Familiarity with financial reporting, AI governance and responsible AI principles
- Experience with productivity tracking and automation impact measurement
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI
