Job Description:
- Accountable for delivering the schedule, cost, and scope of custom automation line projects from project kick-off through Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
- Drive and coordinate cross-functional teams to support project deliverables.
- Analyze project requirements and develop Gantt charts and resource plans.
- Review Bills of Materials (BOM) and technical drawings, including AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks 3D models, for Build-to-Print projects to confirm document accuracy.
- Drive project execution by chairing regular project meetings to ensure project deliverables, timelines, and costs are achieved.
- Report project status and cost versus budget during management reviews, identify project risks, and recommend mitigation actions.
- Act as the main point of contact between the internal project team and customers.
- Chair customer project update meetings when required.
- Develop and prepare Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) checklists based on User Requirement Specification (URS) documents.
- Coordinate the preparation of User Manuals when required.
- Travel to customer sites to support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) when necessary.
- Use SolidWorks to translate conceptual designs into detailed mechanical drawings when required.
Job Requirement:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience leading technical projects with responsibility for project scope and schedules.
- Proficient in spoken, read, and written English.
- Ability to prepare project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Ability to read AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks 3D models to understand the physical layout of automation lines.
- Mechanical design experience and the ability to use SolidWorks to translate conceptual designs into detailed drawings is an added advantage.
- Computer literacy in Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, and SolidWorks.
- Able to perform physical work, including occasional lifting of up to 10 kg.
- Willing to travel up to 10% when required.
