Description
The Project Director / Team Leader will provide strategic and technical leadership for multi-disciplinary urban climate and infrastructure programmes at the state and city levels. The role requires overseeing programme implementation, managing diverse technical teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables, engaging with senior government stakeholders, and providing overall direction for project execution. The Project Director will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and funding agencies while ensuring that project objectives are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with agreed quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall technical, strategic and managerial leadership.
Lead multidisciplinary teams.

Oversee climate action plans and resilience strategies.
Ensure timely technical deliverables.

Mentor junior professionals.
Educational Qualifications:
Essential: Master's in Urban Planning/Civil/Environmental Engineering/Public Policy/Management.
Preferred: PhD or MBA/Public Administration.
Professional Experience:
15+ years leading multidisciplinary urban/climate programmes with government and MDB experience.
Technical Competencies:
Programme Management; Urban Development; Climate Change; Institutional Strengthening; Strategic Planning; Governance; Risk Management; QA/QC.
Preferred Sector Experience:
Climate Action Planning; Smart Cities; AMRUT; Urban Infrastructure; Climate Resilience; MDB-funded projects.

Assignment Nature: Full-time project-based(contract)engagement with travel across India and coordination with government agencies for multiple locations in below locations
