Technical Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with 6–10 years of experience in managing end-to-end technology projects across cloud, data, application development, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
The candidate should possess a blend of technical understanding, delivery leadership, risk management, and client engagement capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end project execution from initiation through deployment and support.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource plans.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and status reports.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, clients, architects, developers, QA teams, and support teams.
- Conduct regular project governance meetings and steering committee reviews.
- Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and clients.
- Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including developers, analysts, architects, and testing teams.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and project reviews.
- Drive collaboration and accountability across project teams.
- Mentor junior team members and project coordinators.
Risk & Quality Management
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and organizational processes.
- Track and manage scope changes through formal change control processes.
- Monitor project financials, resource utilization, and budget adherence.
Agile & Delivery Management
- Lead Agile, Scrum, or Hybrid project delivery models.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project delivery framework.
- Manage release planning, deployment schedules, and production readiness activities.
- Coordinate with DevOps and support teams for seamless project transitions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6–10 years of overall IT experience with at least 3–5 years in project management.
- Experience managing enterprise-scale application, cloud, data, or digital transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.

Pay:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $140,000 - $170,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.

As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take time needed for either sick time or vacation.
