Job Responsibilities
• Lead and complete residential HVAC system installations, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and IAQ products.
• Manage and direct install crew members to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards.
• Review job specifications, load calculations, and blueprints to ensure accurate system placement and design.
• Ensure all installations meet local codes, manufacturer guidelines, and company quality expectations.
• Perform system start-up, testing, commissioning, and homeowner walkthroughs upon completion.
• Communicate professionally with customers, explaining system operation and answering questions.
• Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and project management to confirm materials and scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site while protecting customer property.
• Train and mentor apprentices and junior installers to support skill development and team growth.
• Identify and communicate any job scope changes, challenges, or additional opportunities.
• Complete all required job documentation accurately in company software (e.g., ServiceTitan).
• Uphold company safety standards and OSHA compliance at all times.
• Other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and local code.
• Proven leadership experience managing install crews.
• Ability to read blueprints and job specifications.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied conditions.
• Professional, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.
