Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Response in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Allied Universal is seeking a Patrol Officer to support a manufacturing and industrial location. In this driving role, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Support a professional workplace environment by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting maintenance, operational, and security-related concerns through appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• At least two years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
