About the Role:
The Product Service Consultant Engineer eTech will support new products or changes to existing products
Additional Information:
- Preferred Location: Midland, Texas

What Will You Do:
- Serve as the primary technical resource for customers and dealers, providing electrical systems expertise, troubleshooting support, and on-site guidance to resolve complex product and performance issues.
- Partner with customers, service teams, manufacturing, and product development to translate field feedback into product improvements that enhance quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Investigate product quality and reliability concerns, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve overall product performance.
- Evaluate manufacturing and design processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide engineering recommendations that optimize product quality, serviceability, and production efficiency.
- Communicate technical specifications, product updates, and service recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while tracking and managing product issue resolution.
- Travel extensively (up to 50% or more, including domestic and international travel) to support customers, conduct field investigations, deliver training, and develop deep subject matter expertise in electrical systems and product applications

- Electrical engineering and/or electrical technology experience

- Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
Summary Pay Range:
$97,530.00 - $146,290.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
