Description
Position Summary
The Finished Goods Clerk is responsible for supporting daily shipping operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, processing shipping documentation, and assisting with weekly and month-end inventory closeouts. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and proficiency with spreadsheets and inventory systems.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

- Reviews and reconciles Bills of Lading (BOLs) with shipping logs for accuracy
- Generates and distributes daily shipping schedules
- Prepares shipping paperwork, including pick slips and Bills of Lading
- Enters shipping and sales data into inventory and sales spreadsheets
- Confirms shipments including rails and update shipping records
- Monitors inventory levels and maintain inventory spreadsheets
- Processes physical inventory counts and reconcile inventory records
- Files and organizes shipping and inventory documentation
- Scans, copies, and distributes inventory reports and supporting documents to internal departments
- Assists with truck loadouts and shipping documentation throughout the day
- Completes weekly inventory closeout procedure
- Prepares and assembles inventory and shipping packets for management
- Verifies sales totals against shipping records
- Performs all weekly closeout procedures and all month end closeout procedures
- Ensures all inventory records are complete and accurately filed
- Ensures reach truck is scaled in
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, inventory control, or manufacturing preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
