Job Overview:
Join CureMD's Payer Support Network as a Payer Support Associate, where you will play a critical role in strengthening communication and operational alignment between CureMD, healthcare providers, insurance payers, and internal stakeholders. As part of the CureConnect division, you will be responsible for researching payer requirements, supporting payer-related operational processes, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to continuous process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
The Payer Support Network serves as a central function supporting multiple business units by ensuring payer information remains accurate, current, and accessible. Through research, collaboration, and analytical problem-solving, you will contribute to improving workflows, reducing operational bottlenecks, and enabling better decision-making across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Research and maintain payer-specific policies, guidelines, workflows, and operational requirements.
- Assist in analyzing EDI transactions (270/271, 276/277, 837, 835, etc.) to identify data discrepancies, processing issues, and opportunities for workflow improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of payer information, process updates, and operational changes.
- Provide assistance in review and validating payer data to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy in the workflows.
- Perform basic root cause analysis for payer and EDI-related issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate findings, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Support application and process improvement initiatives by documenting requirements, tracking recurring issues, and providing recommendations based on data analysis and operational findings.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and maintain the integrity of all payer-related data and documentation.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and process updates clearly to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution.
- Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- 0–1 years of professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Working knowledge of different data analysis and AI tools.
- Ability to work in US shifts and rotational schedules, as required.
