The opportunity
Executes attentively incoming inspection protocols as assigned and report all the findings and results in the SAP. Performs labeling of all components with a component identification tag if components are compliant through inspection. Restrains the components at the dedicated area when fails the inspection and initiate the supplier non-conformance management process to report back the issue to the suppliers.
How you’ll make an impact
Ensure a safe environment by implementing HSE requirements
Conduct visual/dimensional inspection of purchased parts, materials, samples and assemblies
Document inspection results as required
Report to quality engineer /Quality manager on any deviations observed during incoming inspection
Create quality inspection records, apply the visual indications on the inspected parts as per procedures
Create Nonconformity reports and keeping track of the status
Record and track daily IQC inspection backlog
Maintain traceability of component materials as to inspection status
Handle materials in accordance to procedures and prevent mix-ups, damage or other adverse effects.
Log/track materials through receiving inspection process and SAP entries
Record transactions and move materials to accepted material area
Communicate inspection results to Quality engineers and other relevant persons.
Refer to verify assembly documentation accuracy, read engineering drawings etc.
Performs any other projects or duties that may be assigned.
Collaborate with other departments for deviation detection, root cause analysis and correction measures implementation.
Support failure analysis, trouble shooting, site visit, reporting & quality process, use A3 template in analysis
Employee shall also carry out any tasks that are assigned by management necessary to fulfil the job requirements.
Your background
Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical technical courses
0-2 Years’ experience
Quality Control/Quality Assurance
Knowledge to read drawings
MS office and computer skills
Hands on Inspection of material and use of tools to measurement
English Communication skills
Influencing Continuous Improvement and decision making and time Management.
