Responsibility
- Act as the primary link between portfolio management, sales, and clients.
- Support fundraising and business development activities across fixed income.
- Represent Fixed Income at client events, roadshows, and one-on-one client meetings.
- Build strong relationships with institutional investors, consultants, and internal distribution teams.
- Translate investment strategies, portfolio positioning, and market developments into clear client messaging.
- Develop high-quality investment content, including pitch books, portfolio review presentations, and thought leadership research. Oversee the RFP process and ensure quality management.
- Ensure consistent and accurate communication of investment processes, portfolio positioning, and performance across all client materials and to internal and external stakeholders.
- Help drive product development and enhancement initiatives in collaboration with portfolio managers and sales teams.
- Analyze market trends and competitor positioning to identify opportunities.
- Drive efficiency improvements through the automation and standardization of reporting, presentation, and content production processes.
Experience
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in a similar role or as a fixed income portfolio manager, strategist, or sales professional.
- Deep understanding of global fixed income markets, including CHF bonds, global corporate and government bonds, high-yield bonds, and emerging market debt.
- Proven ability to engage with sophisticated institutional investors and investment consultants.
- Established network among institutional investors, consultants, and wholesale clients in Switzerland and selected European countries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret portfolio, risk, and performance data.
- Excellent writing and editorial skills.
- Proven presentation and communication skills in German and English; French is a distinct advantage.
- Proactive personality with a confident and persuasive team-player mindset.
- Python programming and/or AI skills are an advantage.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally complemented by a CFA designation or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
