Key Information:

• Various shifts available depending on project requirements
• Overtime may be required during the busy season (April – October)
• Must be willing to work out of town
• Hourly wage is set in accordance with the applicable union agreement

Job Description:

• Interpret electrical code specifications
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
• Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices

Experience and Certification Requirements:

• Journeyperson Electrician Certification or equivalent is required
• At least 2-3 years working as a Journeyperson level Electrician or equivalent experience required
• Arial Work Platform Certification (preferred)
• Fall Arrest/Pro Certification (preferred)
• H2S Alive (preferred)
• Confined Space Entry & Monitor with Rescue (preferred)
• Rigging/Hoisting Certification (preferred)
• First Aid/CPR Certification (preferred)
• CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 (required)
• Able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) 9-23 Kg
• You have a safety conscious attitude and are able to work with others in a team.
• A reliable means of transportation is required.
• Proficient English language skills required.

Education: Journeyperson Certification or equivalent.
