Description
We're recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a growing civil engineering contractor based in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in pricing and securing a variety of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
The Role:
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
- Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Produce detailed take-offs and pricing schedules.
- Identify project risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with operational and commercial teams to deliver winning bids.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Estimator within the civil engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
- Excellent analytical and commercial skills.
- Water experience is desirable but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence.
