About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Data Scientist to join our Data & AI team. The ideal candidate will lead the development of advanced analytics, machine learning models, and AI solutions to drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. You will work on cutting-edge AI/ML technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), MLOps, and Agentic AI, to solve complex business problems and create scalable AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models and AI algorithms to address business challenges.
- Lead initiatives in developing and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI/ML frameworks.
- Implement MLOps best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance to ensure scalable and reliable AI solutions.
- Develop and optimize agentic AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making and interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Conduct data analysis, feature engineering, and model validation to ensure high accuracy and robustness.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML, LLMs, and related technologies, and incorporate them into projects.
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in data science and AI development.
- Document methodologies, models, and processes for transparency and reproducibility.
About you
Technical Skills & Expertise
- Primary Skills:
- Python programming for data science and AI development.
- Expertise in AI/ML algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
- Deep knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, BERT, or similar.
- Experience with MLOps tools and frameworks for CI/CD, model deployment, and monitoring.
- Knowledge of Agentic AI systems and autonomous agents.
- Additional Skills:
- Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalable AI solutions.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of databases and data management.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience Range: 8+ years in IT, data science, AI/ML, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying AI/ML models in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, MLOps, and Agentic AI systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):
- AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate
- Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer
- Certified Data Scientist (CDS)
- Deep Learning Specialization (Coursera)
- Certified Artificial Intelligence Practitioner (CAIP)
