ABOUT THE ROLE
We are recruiting for a Sydney-based Event Coordinator within our Events & Operations department. This is a great opportunity to support the Hospitality & Corporate Events team in the planning, coordination and delivery of Cricket Australia’s Premium Experiences and Executive Hospitality program across the cricket season.
Reporting to the Senior Hospitality & Corporate Events Manager you’ll be responsible for:
Deliver consistent Premium Experiences and Executive Hospitality across matches and markets
Coordinate match-day hospitality setup, catering, fit-out and merchandise
Manage venue and caterer relationships, briefings and service standards
Develop hospitality artwork, signage and production requirements
Support MC, talent and player appearance requirements, including stakeholder communication and onsite coordination
Prepare casual event staff briefing materials and support onsite staff coordination
Maintain hospitality information across key event systems, including the Match Day Information Hub, Monday.com and Venue Guides
Support guest management, table allocations and place cards
Manage The First XI bucket-list experience and onsite activation
Prepare run sheets, event orders, briefings and floor plans
Maintain hospitality procedures and operational manuals
Support event budgets, invoicing, reconciliations and reporting
Deliver exceptional guest and client experiences
Ensure event health, safety and compliance requirements are met
Attend planning meetings, operational briefings and post-event debriefs
Support key special events across the season
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
2+ years’ experience in events, hospitality or sport
Strong stakeholder and customer service skills
Able to manage competing priorities
Positive, energetic team player
Calm problem-solver under pressure
Proactive, accountable and autonomous
Excellent communication skills
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Sport or major event experience desirable
EventsAir, Monday.com or Canva desirable
Cricket knowledge desirable
Able to travel domestically
Available evenings, weekends and public holidays
Comfortable with physical event delivery
