Kingline Equipment is accepting resumes for a salesperson for our Summerdale, AL. location. We represent top-tier manufacturers providing an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
- The focus of this position would be selling a variety of commercial and consumer products including construction equipment, agriculture tractors, lawn and garden tools and implements.
- Must be a self-starter with an outgoing, friendly personality and have the ability to generate goodwill outside the company and within.
- A positive 'can-do' attitude is a must.
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment offered for sale by the dealership.
- Is familiar with machinery operations and instructs customers as necessary.
- Independently manages the sales process for each sales opportunity.
- Conducts field demos and events.
- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
- Manages customer education and delivery of equipment sold.
- Monitors competitive activity and products, reporting to management, accordingly.
- Maintains all customer information for sales management.
- Knows and follows a defined sales process.
- Respond to online leads and follow up.
- Monitors trends in consumer activity reporting to management accordingly.
- Maintains current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
- Attends ongoing training as required by Kingline Equipment.
Job Requirements:
- At least three years of experience and knowledge of agricultural and construction equipment.
- Knowledge of social media and responding to online leads.
- Ability to use standard desktop applications.
- Ability to learn industry-specific computer programs and applications.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- Willing to work flexible hours.
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to pull trailers safely.
- Must be able to sit and work on a computer.
- Must be able to bend, twist, lift, etc. in order to demonstrate various parts of the equipment as needed.
- Must be able to stand for periods of time at expos, demonstrations, etc.
- Must be flexible regarding schedules and willing to work additional hours when the season demands it.
Job Details:
- Required experience: Sales or Equipment Experience: 3 years.
- Required education: High school or equivalent.
- Typical start time: 7 AM.
- Typical end time: 5 PM.
