Job Description Summary
We are looking for a curious and detail-oriented Apprentice to join our Finance Business Intelligence team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in data reporting and analytics within a global healthcare organization. You will support the team in building dashboards, preparing reports, and deriving insights from financial data - all while being mentored by experienced professionals. A passion for data and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
Your role at Baxter:
Support the development and maintenance of financial reports and dashboards
Assist in extracting, cleaning, and organizing data from ERP and reporting systems
Help prepare regular analytics outputs - daily, weekly, and monthly - for finance and business stakeholders
Participate in data validation exercises to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports
Assist in identifying trends and anomalies in financial and operational data
Support ad-hoc data requests and analysis from business teams (Sales, Marketing, Commercial, and Accounting)
Help with document reporting processes, data definitions, and dashboard user guides
Collaborate with the Finance BI team to improve existing reports and explore new analytics opportunities

Education:
Bachelor's degree completed between 2022- 2025 in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
Coursework or projects in data analysis, business intelligence, or financial reporting are a plus
A genuine interest in data, numbers, and using insights to drive decisions is essential.
Skills required:
Excel Proficiency - Comfortable using Excel for data analysis — formulas, pivot tables, and basic charting.
Analytical Thinking - Ability to work with data, spot patterns, and translate numbers into clear takeaways.
Attention to Detail - Careful and accurate approach to data handling, validation, and report preparation.
Communication - Ability to present data findings clearly to team members and non-finance stakeholders.
Curiosity & Learning - Eagerness to explore BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and pick up new technical skills.
Problem-Solving - Ability to identify data issues and propose practical, logical solutions.
Teamwork - Collaborative mindset with willingness to contribute and learn in a team setting.
Time Management - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet reporting deadlines consistently.
