Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in creating compelling and environmentally-conscious designs for various projects, including parks, public spaces, and commercial properties.
- Develop concept plans, design drawings, and presentations that effectively communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure designs adhere to local codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
- Oversee all phases of projects, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other design disciplines to maintain open communication and ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement necessary corrective measures.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
- Licensed Landscape Architect in Kentucky or eligible for reciprocity of license in Kentucky.
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience in landscape architecture, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of landscape design principles, sustainable practices, and horticulture.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
