Tribe Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst. In this role, you will actively contribute to translating our “Together for Progress” strategy into actionable insights for Customer Journey Experts, Financial Experts, Sales Teams and Product Development teams, marking a new chapter in our strategic journey “Banking Made Simple.”
Driven by your passion for (i) data & reporting, (ii) customers behavior analytics, and (iii) sales channels analytics (branch & digital banking - “Mobile First”), you will support the successful implementation of our Insurance and customer strategy across sales network. You’ll do this through factual reporting with actionable insights, proactive in-depth analysis, and strategic advice.

A day in the life of a Data Analyst
As a Data Analyst, you will focus on:
- Supporting the implementation of our Insurance Mobile Led strategy by building and maintaining insightful reports focused on our Key Performance Indicators using Cognos, Power BI, SAS/SQL, Python, among other tools.
- Running daily, weekly and monthly data processes that automatically update all linked reports. Owning the end-to-end creation, automation and monitoring of all kinds of Insurance reports and insights.
- Modifying or adding new or updated simple metrics to our data packages and processes, in close collaboration with business experts, data stakeholders from other product tribes and/or ING central data team.
- Proactively analyzing direct metrics and informing stakeholders, often Customer Journey Experts (CJEs) or Content Managers.
- Occasionally handling AMI requests to deliver specific reports
- Providing data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of tools and campaigns used in insurance sales & lead management initiatives, enabling continuous process optimization to support the sales growth.
- Building comprehensive and dynamic dashboards for lead and sales management process in Power BI platform.
- Providing guidance on data knowledge for insurance in all projects within or outside the tribe.

Together with the team, you take responsibility for maximizing the efficiency and continuous availability of data and performance reports related to all ambitions.
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field—or have at least 3 years of equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of demonstrable experience with data analysis using tools such as SAS, Excel, Cognos, Power BI, or Python.
- Experience in SQL is a must.
- You are fluent in English; Dutch and/or French are a plus.
- You perform sharp analyses based on available data.
- You know how to translate a business question into analytical questions and provide clear, visually appealing answers.
- You are a team player within and beyond your team, with a proactive attitude and a sense of ownership for assigned projects. You are also happy to work 50% of your time at the newly renovated Marnix office in Brussels.
