Requirements
-
Proven experience in offshore construction management, preferably in complex vessel-based projects.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams in challenging offshore environments.

In-depth knowledge of QHSE standards, Permit-to-Work systems, and international maritime regulations.

Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute projects efficiently under tight schedules.
-
Excellent problem-solving skills and capability to make informed decisions under pressure.
-
Relevant technical or engineering degree preferred.
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide overall management and leadership for all construction activities on board the assigned offshore vessel.
-
Coordinate interdisciplinary operations among vessel departments and liaise closely with the Master for all marine-related activities.

Drive project execution to meet deadlines, optimize productivity, and control costs while maintaining compliance with project specifications and QHSE standards.

Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures; lead by example to promote a strong safety culture on board.

Oversee the implementation of the Permit-to-Work system and ensure that daily Toolbox Talks and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) are conducted as required.

Develop and manage detailed work schedules, establish priorities, and optimize resource utilization, including manpower, equipment, and materials.

Ensure subcontractors fulfill their contractual obligations and maintain effective communication and coordination with the vessel organization.

Plan and supervise the mobilisation and demobilisation of personnel and equipment in coordination with relevant operational teams, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Act as the Project Manager’s representative towards the Client Representative on board, handling discussions on project progress, changes, and contractual implications.

Maintain clear communication channels across all vessel departments and between onshore and offshore stakeholders.

Support human resource development processes, including training, competency assessments, and professional growth of onboard personnel.

Promote continuous technical and organizational improvements to minimize operational risks.

Collaborate with the Project Team in resolving technical and management issues within the assigned scope.

Participate in project risk assessments and support emergency response actions in cooperation with the Master.

Ensure awareness and compliance with the ISM Code and MLC 2006 requirements concerning crew safety and welfare.

Guarantee timely preparation, maintenance, and submission of project documents, reports, certifications, and handover records in accordance with contractual and procedural requirements.
