POSITION SPECIFICS
Penn State Hazleton is seeking qualified part-time faculty to teach undergraduate courses in the sciences, including but not limited to Microbiology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry.
Courses will be taught in person on the Penn State Hazleton campus.
Requirements and Qualifications
A minimum of a master’s degree in the relevant discipline (or closely related field) is required
Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching at the college level
Teaching assignments may include day or evening times and various methods of course delivery. Most classes will be in-person, with occasional opportunities for hybrid or online teaching.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
