Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception Desk in Clarks Summit, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, and support daily security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. This stationary role is ideal for someone who is professional, attentive, and ready to work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk location.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating entry procedures in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site-specific protocols.
• Answer phones, assist with directional questions, receive deliveries, and support front desk operations while helping to deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and visitor information accurately, and communicate relevant updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
