概述

To meet the government audit requirements and the significant EHS working time invested, we need to hire an environmental specialist to maintain and improve compliance. This role will cover environmental, energy, and carbon footprint.

职责

1. Coordinate and supervise all environmental relevant processes and operations on site, like environmental compliance, environment monitoring programs to ensure emission or discharge meeting with the requirements of Chinese Environment protection, waste storage and disposal management, KPIs for air, water, soil, underground water and noise, etc. -30%2. Conduct environmental inspections at Trinseo ZJG Site with relevant regulations and company policies, make records and deliver reports, include taking immediate corrective actions upon violation of environmental regulations and rules. -15%3. As window person, collect, review and implement relevant environmental laws/regulations and other government requirement which have an impact on operations in site. - 15%4. Organize environmental training in accordance with China laws and internal requirement to where applicable. - 10%5. Manager 3rd party service providers of environmental operation. -10%6. Own, maintain and improve continuously the local management systems and procedures of environmental protections. -10%7. Coordinate and support site sustainability and ESG efforts, such as energy, carbon footprint, OCS, etc. -5%8. Support maintenance/engineering and production departments in developing and designing an optimized environmental systems on site. Be responsible for environmental permitting and environment monitoring of new/modification project.

资格

Minimum Education Required:Bachelor degree(or above) majored in chemical engineering or safety management.Minimum Experience (years and type):At least 5 years working experience of EHS management in chemical industry. Additional manufacturing and operations related experience is a plus.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong self-learning ability and self-motivation
• Ability to promote team work and influence behaviors
• Good knowledge in engineering, design and technologies of biological, chemical and physical waste water and gas treatment systems
• Good understanding of basic chemistry such as oxidation, reduction, stoichiometrical equation, endothermal and exothermal reactions, pH, molecular weight, anions, cations
• Good knowledge on Chinese environmental regulations and standards (GB codes)
• Coordination, influencing, communication and interpersonal skills
• Logical, engineering, and systemic thinking
• Fluent English reading and writing
