Overview
As a Trainee Lading Inspector at SGS, you'll receive on-the-job training to become a certified cargo inspector for petrochemical products. Your duties will include inspecting ship, truck, and tank car cargoes, taking samples for laboratory analysis, performing cleanliness inspections, and conducting measurements and calculations. You'll work in a shift-based environment with initial 2-shift rotations transitioning to 5-shift after training. The role requires no fear of heights or confined spaces, good communication skills, and fluency in Dutch and English.
