Manufacturing Engineer

V20 has been engaged by a privately held advanced manufacturing and engineering company to identify a Manufacturing Engineer. Our client specializes in precision machining, composite fabrication, prototyping, tooling, and production solutions for complex, high-performance applications. The Opportunity:
The Manufacturing Engineer will play a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations, engineering development, and customer-focused project execution. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on advanced composite tooling and manufacturing projects while contributing to the growth of a rapidly expanding organization. The successful candidate will collaborate across engineering and operations teams, drive process improvements, manage projects from concept through completion, and help deliver innovative solutions to customers. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support daily manufacturing and production activities in partnership with operations leadership.
- Design fixtures, tooling platforms, mold frames, and composite assemblies.
- Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for composite tooling and part production.
- Manage engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule objectives are achieved.
- Communicate directly with customers regarding project schedules, technical updates, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing and engineering challenges.
- Assist with engineering initiatives across the facility as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on efficiency, quality, safety, and workflow optimization.
- Support new product introduction and manufacturing readiness activities.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering, process development, production support, or related engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes; composites experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with CAD design software, preferably Rhino.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach.
- Self-motivated individual with a desire to grow professionally within a rapidly expanding organization.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, engineering teams, and production personnel.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
