We are seeking a skilled and experienced detail-oriented Carpenter for our Facilities Maintenance Department.
The following are some of the key responsibilities required to be successful at the job.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced detail-oriented Carpenter for our Facilities Maintenance Department.
The following are some of the key responsibilities required to be successful at the job.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs all major repairs to all wood structures at the facility.
- Maintains the upkeep of all buildings at the facility.
- Installs all finish hardware (e.g., door closers, door handles/knobs, hooks and hangers).
- Seals and paints all structures at the facility.
- Assists with small construction projects at the facility.
- Assists other departments when needed (e.g., facility and grounds maintenance departments).
- All other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must adhere to all company policies.
- Ability to determine work priorities.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to make decisions and take appropriate actions.
- Ability to meet schedules and deadlines of the work area.
- Must be able to work the weekends, as needed.
