Industrial Machinery Technician

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Wind Turbine and Industrial Machinery Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various industrial machinery, including wind turbine, diesel generators, reverse osmosis (RO) water makers, and wastewater treatment equipment. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with industrial machinery, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection and Diagnosis:
  • Perform routine inspections and diagnostic tests to identify issues with industrial machinery.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to determine the root cause of malfunctions.
• Maintenance and Repair:
  • Conduct regular maintenance on wind turbines, diesel generators, RO water makers, and wastewater machinery.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, pumps, motors, and electrical systems.
  • Implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Operational Support:
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  • Provide technical support and training to operators and other staff.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Tools and Equipment Management:
  • Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition and report any issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical school or vocational training in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, including diesel generators, RO water makers, wind turbines, and wastewater treatment equipment.
• Certifications:
  • Certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical repair preferred.
  • Specific certifications related to diesel generators, RO systems, or wind turbines a plus.
• Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and repair techniques.
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work in various positions for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in different environments, including outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
